This page will show you how to create and modify sub account on the GPS-server platform
Sub accounts are very simple to set up. These accounts are mainly used for business internal use where you may have a person managing certain vehicles or equipment but doesn’t necessarily need to see everything out side of that department.
Another use for a sub account is to have it set up for a family member or friend who you would like to be able to see where you are if your travelling etc.. and you don’t want to give them full access.
To create a sub account,
click the setting tab on the home page to menu bar
Select “Sub account” in the new window menu
Then select the “Add” button down the bottom left corner.
You can see in this example image we have broken up the section into different colours.
The red section is the users details and you can also click the “send credentials” check box to automatically send there login details when finished. You can also activate or deactivate the account at the top if need be.
The green section is what objects, Markers, Routes and Zones you would like them to see on there account.
You can also set and expiry date if you would like the account to automatically deactivate.
The blue section is what parts on the platform you would like the user to have access to
And the yellow section is URL links to access the platform. you can send these to the user for quick access.
Once you have fill out these details, you can click “Save” and your all done.
